Cooking Instructions
Follow our step-by-step guide on how to make Bacon-Wrapped Venison Loin.
Step 1
In a mixing bowl, combine the brown sugar, soy sauce, minced garlic, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir until the sugar is fully dissolved.
Step 2
Place the venison tenderloin in a container with a lid or a zip-top bag. Pour the marinade over the tenderloin, ensuring it is well coated. Seal the container or bag and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 8 hours, or overnight for best results.
Step 3
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Step 4
Remove the tenderloin from the marinade and discard the marinade. Begin wrapping the tenderloin with slices of bacon, starting at one end and securing each slice with a toothpick. Continue wrapping until the entire tenderloin is covered in bacon.
Step 5
Place the wrapped tenderloin on a broiler pan and position it in the center of the preheated oven.
Step 6
Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, or until the center is slightly pink for medium-rare doneness. Remove from the oven and sprinkle the top with white sugar.
Step 7
Switch the oven to broil and return the tenderloin to the oven. Broil for about 5 minutes, turning once, until the bacon is crispy. Keep a close eye to prevent burning.
Step 8
Once done, remove from the oven and let it rest on a cutting board for 10 minutes. Slice between the strips of bacon to create individual pieces.
