Cooking Instructions
Follow our step-by-step guide on how to make Baked Chicken Burgers with Spinach and Mushrooms.
Step 1
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking pan with half of the avocado oil.
Step 2
In a small food processor or blender, combine the sliced mushrooms, chopped spinach, chopped onion, and minced garlic. Pulse several times until the mixture is finely chopped but not pureed.
Step 3
In a large mixing bowl, add the ground chicken. Incorporate the chopped vegetable mixture, chicken soup base, salt, and pepper. Mix until the vegetables are evenly distributed throughout the chicken.
Step 4
Divide the chicken mixture into five equal portions and shape each portion into a patty.
Step 5
Place the patties on the prepared baking sheet and lightly brush the tops with the remaining avocado oil.
Step 6
Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes. Then, switch on the broiler and broil the patties for 1 to 2 minutes on each side until they are browned. Ensure the internal temperature reaches at least 165°F (74°C) using an instant-read thermometer.
Step 7
Serve each chicken burger on a sandwich bun.
