Cooking Instructions
Follow our step-by-step guide on how to make Chocolate Banana Crepes.
Step 1
In a medium bowl, combine the sugar, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Use an electric mixer to blend until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
Step 2
Gradually add the milk, egg, and egg yolk, mixing well after each addition until the batter is smooth and free of lumps.
Step 3
Slowly incorporate the flour into the mixture, stirring until fully combined.
Step 4
Preheat a small skillet over medium heat and lightly grease it with cooking spray or a little butter.
Step 5
Pour 1/3 cup of the batter into the skillet, cooking for 1 to 2 minutes until the edges start to lift. Flip the crepe and cook for an additional 30 seconds to 1 minute until golden brown. Repeat with the remaining batter.
Step 6
In a separate medium-sized skillet, melt a little butter over medium heat. Add the sliced bananas and cook, stirring frequently, until they are soft, about 2 to 3 minutes.
Step 7
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips and cream cheese together for 1 to 2 minutes, stirring until smooth. Reserve 2 tablespoons of this chocolate mixture and stir the rest into the cooked bananas, allowing it to heat for an additional minute.
Step 8
To assemble, place a spoonful of the chocolate-banana mixture onto each crepe, fold them over, and drizzle with the reserved chocolate sauce.
