Cooking Instructions
Follow our step-by-step guide on how to make Chocolate Chip Cookie Cups Delight.
Step 1
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease two mini muffin pans.
Step 2
In a small bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
Step 3
In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, white sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract using an electric mixer until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
Step 4
Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Gradually incorporate the flour mixture until fully combined, then fold in the chocolate chips.
Step 5
Drop rounded tablespoons of the cookie dough into the prepared mini muffin cups, filling each cup about 2/3 full.
Step 6
Bake in the preheated oven for 9 to 12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden brown. Allow the cookie cups to cool in the pans for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Step 7
While the cookie cups are cooling, prepare the icing by beating together shortening, butter, and vanilla extract in a mixing bowl. Gradually add confectioners' sugar, one cup at a time, and mix until smooth. Add milk as needed to achieve a smooth consistency.
Step 8
Once the cookie cups are completely cool, fill the center of each with the prepared icing.
