Step 1
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 10x15-inch jelly roll pan.
Step 2
In a large bowl, combine the flour, white sugar, and salt. Cut in the margarine until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

Press the crumb mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan.

Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.

While the crust is baking, prepare the filling. In a large bowl, mix together the corn syrup, brown sugar, eggs, melted margarine, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth. Stir in the pecans.
