Cooking Instructions
Follow our step-by-step guide on how to make Cream Cheese Glazed Danish Squares.
Step 1
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly spray a 9x13-inch baking pan with nonstick cooking spray.
Step 2
In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, white sugar, egg, and vanilla extract. Beat the mixture with an electric mixer until it is smooth and creamy.
Step 3
Unroll one can of crescent roll dough and spread it evenly across the bottom of the prepared baking pan.
Step 4
Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crescent roll layer, spreading it out evenly.
Step 5
Unroll the second can of crescent roll dough and place it on top of the cream cheese mixture, covering it completely.
Step 6
Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes, or until the top is lightly browned. Once baked, allow it to cool to room temperature for at least 20 minutes.
Step 7
While the Danish cools, prepare the glaze by mixing the powdered sugar and milk in a small bowl until smooth.
Step 8
Once cooled, drizzle the glaze over the Danish and cut into squares for serving.
