Step 1
In a bowl, whisk together the teriyaki sauce, chopped green onions, sherry, minced garlic, Sriracha sauce (if using), and ginger paste until smooth. Set this sauce aside for later use.
Step 2
Place the cornstarch in a large zip-top bag. Add the tofu slices to the bag, seal it, and gently shake until all the tofu is evenly coated with cornstarch.
Step 3
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the coated tofu slices and cook for about 5 minutes until golden brown. Flip the tofu with tongs and cook for an additional 5 minutes on the other side until browned. Once done, transfer the tofu to a plate and wipe the skillet clean.
Step 4
Pour the reserved teriyaki sauce into the skillet and cook for about 2 minutes until it thickens slightly. Remove the skillet from heat and return the crispy tofu to the skillet, tossing to coat the tofu in the sauce.
Step 5
Serve the crispy teriyaki tofu on plates, drizzling extra sauce on top just before serving.
