Cooking Instructions
Follow our step-by-step guide on how to make Czech Strawberry Crepes.
Step 1
In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, milk, eggs, sugar, and a pinch of salt. Use an electric mixer to beat the mixture until it is smooth and thinner than cake batter. If needed, add more milk to achieve the desired consistency. Whisk in the melted butter until well combined.
Step 2
Heat the vegetable oil in a heavy skillet over medium heat. Pour a large ladleful of the batter into the center of the skillet, then swirl the pan to evenly coat the bottom. Cook the crepe until the underside is golden brown, about 1 to 2 minutes.
Step 3
Carefully run a spatula around the edges of the crepe to loosen it, then flip it over and cook the other side until it turns light brown, about 1 minute more. Repeat this process with the remaining batter, stacking the cooked crepes on a plate.
Step 4
To serve, lay each crepe flat and spread with sliced strawberries, yogurt, strawberry jam, honey, and a sprinkle of cinnamon sugar. Roll the crepes into logs and top with whipped cream if desired.
