Start by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C). This will ensure your crust bakes perfectly. In a mixing bowl, combine the sifted all-purpose flour and confectioners' sugar. Next, cut in the butter using a pastry blender or two knives until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Press this mixture firmly into a 9x13-inch baking dish to form your crust.
