Cooking Instructions
Follow our step-by-step guide on how to make Earl Grey Infused Bread.
Step 1
Cut open the Earl Grey tea bags and place the tea leaves in a tea strainer. Steep the leaves in 3/4 cup of boiling water for 10 minutes. Allow the tea to cool to room temperature.
Step 2
Pour the cooled tea into the bread machine. Add the bread flour, sugar, instant yeast, and salt in the order recommended by the manufacturer.
Step 3
Select the White Bread cycle on the bread machine. When the machine beeps, about 15 minutes into the kneading stage, add the unsalted butter.
Step 4
Once the cycle is complete, approximately 3 hours later, carefully remove the loaf from the machine and let it cool on a wire rack.
