In a spacious bowl, toss together the shredded and sliced apples with brown sugar, golden raisins, flour, and a pinch of salt, ensuring everything is well combined.

On a lightly floured surface, roll out a sheet of puff pastry into a rectangle measuring about 10 x 12 inches.
