Cooking Instructions
Follow our step-by-step guide on how to make Easy Tuna Fish Tacos.
Step 1
In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
Step 2
Add the diced tomatoes, sliced green onions, minced garlic, ground cumin, and dried oregano. Sauté the mixture until the tomatoes become very soft, about 5 minutes.
Step 3
Reduce the heat to low and add the drained tuna. Gently break the tuna into bite-sized pieces and mix it with the other ingredients.
Step 4
Season the mixture with red pepper flakes (if using), salt, and black pepper to taste. Cover the skillet and cook until the tuna is warmed through, about 2 to 3 minutes more.
Step 5
To warm the corn tortillas, stack 6 of them on a microwave-safe plate and cover with a damp paper towel. Heat in the microwave for 15 to 20 seconds until pliable. Repeat with the remaining tortillas.
Step 6
Spoon the tuna mixture over the warm tortillas and serve immediately.
