Cooking Instructions
Follow our step-by-step guide on how to make Grilled Aloha Chicken Burgers.
Step 1
Start by marinating your chicken breasts in a plastic zipper bag with soy sauce.
Step 2
Seal the bag tightly and let it sit in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to soak up all that delicious flavor.
Step 3
While the chicken is marinating, heat a large, deep skillet over medium-high heat and cook the bacon, turning it occasionally until it’s perfectly browned and crispy, which should take around 10 minutes.
Step 4
Once done, drain the bacon on a paper towel-lined plate to absorb any excess grease and set it aside.
Step 5
Next, take your hamburger buns and spread softened butter on the cut sides.
Step 6
This will give them a lovely golden color when toasted.
Step 7
Preheat your outdoor grill to medium heat and lightly oil the grate to prevent sticking.
Step 8
After the chicken has marinated, remove it from the soy sauce, discarding any leftover liquid.
Step 9
Place the chicken breasts on the preheated grill and cook them for about 4 to 5 minutes on each side, or until they have beautiful grill marks and are no longer pink in the center.
Step 10
In the last few minutes of grilling, brush each chicken breast generously with teriyaki sauce for an extra burst of flavor.
Step 11
Add a slice of Swiss cheese on top of each piece of chicken and cover the grill with a lid to let the cheese melt perfectly.
Step 12
While the chicken is grilling, place the buttered buns on the grill, cut side down, and toast them until they’re golden brown, which should take about 2 minutes.
Step 13
Once toasted, remove the buns from the grill and get ready to assemble your mouthwatering burgers.
Step 14
To put it all together, spread a layer of mayonnaise on the grilled side of each bun.
Step 15
On the bottom bun, stack the grilled chicken breast, followed by 1 and a half slices of crispy bacon, a juicy slice of pineapple, a fresh piece of lettuce, and a slice of tomato.
Step 16
Finally, top it off with the other half of the bun.
Step 17
Serve your delicious creation immediately and enjoy the delightful combination of flavors!.
