Cooking Instructions
Follow our step-by-step guide on how to make Grilled Boudin Sausage with Peppers and Onions.
Step 1
In a large bowl, combine the bell peppers, onion, mushrooms, olive oil, and seafood seasoning. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly coated. Set aside while you preheat the grill.
Step 2
Preheat your outdoor grill to medium-high heat and lightly oil the grate to prevent sticking.
Step 3
Place the boudin sausage directly on the grill grate. Transfer the vegetable mixture to a grill basket and place it on the grill as well. Grill for about 5 minutes.
Step 4
After 5 minutes, turn the boudin sausage over and stir the vegetables. Continue grilling until the sausage reaches an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C), which should take about 5 more minutes.
Step 5
Once cooked, remove the boudin from the grill and place it in the hot dog buns. Top with spicy brown mustard and serve alongside the grilled vegetables.
