Cooking Instructions
Follow our step-by-step guide on how to make Honey Garlic Shrimp Pineapple Skewers.
Step 1
In a small saucepan over medium-low heat, combine the butter, honey, lemon juice, pineapple juice, minced garlic, soy sauce, and red pepper flakes. Allow the mixture to simmer for 3 to 4 minutes, or until it begins to thicken. Reserve half of the sauce for dipping later.
Step 2
On two soaked bamboo skewers, thread the pineapple cubes, shrimp, and red bell pepper pieces alternately. Brush the skewers with the remaining honey-garlic sauce.
Step 3
Preheat your outdoor grill to high heat (about 400ยฐF or 200ยฐC) and lightly oil the grill grate to prevent sticking.
Step 4
Place the skewers on the grill and cook for 5 to 7 minutes, turning halfway through, until the shrimp are fully cooked and opaque in color. Serve the skewers hot with the reserved dipping sauce.
