Cooking Instructions
Follow our step-by-step guide on how to make Instant Pot Honey Garlic Shrimp Dish.
Step 1
Pour 1 cup of water into the Instant Pot and place a steamer basket inside.
Step 2
Add the frozen shrimp to the steamer basket.
Step 3
Close and lock the lid of the Instant Pot. Select the high-pressure setting and set the timer for 0 minutes. Allow 10 minutes for the pressure to build up.
Step 4
While the shrimp is cooking, prepare the sauce. In a bowl, whisk together the cornstarch and cold water until smooth. Then add the soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, vegetable oil, and Sriracha sauce. Whisk until well combined.
Step 5
Once the cooking time is complete, carefully release the pressure using the quick-release method, which should take about 2 minutes. Unlock and remove the lid.
Step 6
Remove the steamer basket with the shrimp and set it aside. Drain the water from the pot.
Step 7
Select the 'Sauté' function on the Instant Pot. Pour the prepared sauce into the pot and cook for about 2 minutes, or until the sauce thickens slightly.
Step 8
Cancel the 'Sauté' function and stir in the cooked shrimp until they are evenly coated with the sauce.
Step 9
Transfer the shrimp to serving plates and garnish with chopped green onions.
