Cooking Instructions
Follow our step-by-step guide on how to make Maple-Glazed Salmon with Grilled Pineapple.
Step 1
In a bowl, combine 2 tablespoons of maple syrup, soy sauce, lemon juice, and grated ginger. Add the salmon fillets to the marinade, turning to coat them well. Allow the salmon to marinate for at least 15 minutes, but no longer than 30 minutes.
Step 2
For the glaze, mix the remaining 2 tablespoons of maple syrup with the Cajun seasoning in a separate bowl and set aside.
Step 3
Position an oven rack about 6 inches from the heat source and preheat the oven's broiler to low.
Step 4
Line a rimmed baking sheet with foil and lightly spray it with cooking spray. Remove the salmon from the marinade, pat it dry with paper towels, and place it skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Add the halved pineapple slices to the sheet as well, and brush everything with the prepared glaze.
Step 5
Broil in the preheated oven for 13 to 15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145ยฐF (62ยฐC). Serve with lemon wedges.
