Step 1
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
Step 2
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and baking soda. In another bowl, combine the mashed bananas and whipping cream.

In a separate bowl, cream together the sugar and softened butter using an electric mixer until the mixture is light and fluffy. Beat in the egg until well combined.

Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture in two batches, alternating with the banana mixture. Mix briefly after each addition until just combined. Gently fold in the chocolate chips and chopped pecans.

Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the Nutella® in the microwave for about 25 seconds. Drizzle the melted Nutella® over the batter and use a knife to swirl it in gently.

While the bread is baking, prepare the caramel sauce by whisking together brown sugar, half-and-half, butter, and salt in a saucepan over medium-low heat. Cook until the mixture thickens, about 5 to 7 minutes. Stir in vanilla and cook for an additional minute. Remove from heat and let cool slightly before refrigerating until cold.

Once baked, allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely. Serve slices of the bread drizzled with the chilled caramel sauce.
