Cooking Instructions
Follow our step-by-step guide on how to make Spicy Beef Sliders with Comeback Sauce.
Step 1
In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, Sriracha sauce, pickle juice, yellow mustard, garlic powder, sugar, and salt. Mix well to create the comeback sauce. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Reserve 6 teaspoons of the sauce for the sliders and store the rest for later use.
Step 2
Heat a thin layer of olive oil in a deep pan over medium heat. Add the sliced onion in a single layer and cover. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes until fragrant. Reduce the heat to medium-low, stir the onions, and cover again.
Step 3
While the onions are cooking, mix the ground beef with hamburger seasoning and Worcestershire sauce in a bowl. Shape the mixture into 6 small patties.
Step 4
Stir the onions occasionally to prevent burning. Place the beef patties on top of the onions in the pan and cover. Cook for 2 minutes.
Step 5
Flip the patties and place half a slice of American cheese on each one, followed by several pickle slices. Stack the halved slider rolls, cut side down, on top of the burgers. Cover the pan to steam the buns and continue cooking until the burgers are no longer pink in the center, about 3 to 5 minutes more.
Step 6
Remove the burgers and buns from the pan. Spread the reserved comeback sauce on the bottom half of each bun, add some caramelized onions, and place the burger on top. Finish with the top bun and serve hot.
