Cooking Instructions
Follow our step-by-step guide on how to make Spicy Mexican Buffalo Wings with Fresh Salsa.
Step 1
In a large bowl, combine the tomato sauce, coconut sugar, cayenne pepper, chili sauce, ground cumin, ground coriander, ground black pepper, and salt. Mix well to create a marinade.
Step 2
Add the chicken wings to the marinade and toss until they are evenly coated. Cover the bowl and let the wings marinate in the refrigerator for 20 minutes.
Step 3
Preheat your oven to 425ยฐF (220ยฐC). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place an oven-proof wire rack on top of the foil.
Step 4
Arrange the marinated chicken wings on the wire rack in a single layer.
Step 5
Bake the wings in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, or until they are browned and crispy.
Step 6
While the wings are baking, prepare the salsa by combining diced tomatoes, chopped onions, cilantro, lemon juice, jalapeno, coconut sugar, and salt in a separate bowl. Mix well to combine.
Step 7
Once the wings are done, transfer them to a serving plate and generously pour the fresh salsa over the top. Serve immediately.
