Cooking Instructions
Follow our step-by-step guide on how to make Strawberries and Cream Taco Cups.
Step 1
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Step 2
In a small bowl, combine the sliced strawberries and white sugar. Set aside to allow the strawberries to release their juices.
Step 3
Take the flour tortilla and place it inside a small oven-proof bowl, shaping it into a cup. Brush the inside of the tortilla with melted butter and lightly sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
Step 4
Bake the tortilla in the preheated oven for 10 to 12 minutes, or until it becomes crisp. Carefully remove the tortilla cup from the bowl and let it cool on a wire rack.
Step 5
While the tortilla is cooling, arrange the chocolate candy melts in a single layer on a saucer. Microwave them for about 1 minute, or until melted. Dip the top edge of the cooled taco cup into the melted chocolate, ensuring only the edges are coated. Allow it to cool and harden.
Step 6
Once the chocolate has set, scoop a generous portion of vanilla ice cream into the taco cup. Top with the prepared strawberries and their juices. If desired, garnish with chocolate sprinkles.
