Cooking Instructions
Follow our step-by-step guide on how to make Tropical BBQ Meatballs Delight.
Step 1
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly coat a rimmed baking sheet with cooking spray.
Step 2
In a blender or food processor, puree the mango chunks until smooth.
Step 3
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, bread crumbs, minced garlic, onion soup mix, adobo seasoning, thyme, ginger, sea salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
Step 4
Add the eggs and the pureed mango to the mixture, and mix again until fully combined.
Step 5
Shape the mixture into 1 1/2-inch meatballs and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
Step 6
Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for about 45 minutes, or until they are browned and cooked through.
Step 7
While the meatballs are baking, prepare the BBQ sauce by mixing together additional mango, pineapple, sugar, soy sauce, mustard, and cinnamon in a medium bowl.
Step 8
Once the meatballs are done, remove them from the oven and drain any excess grease. Increase the oven temperature to 400°F (200°C).
Step 9
Pour the BBQ sauce over the meatballs and return them to the oven.
Step 10
Bake for an additional 20 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.
