Cooking Instructions
Follow our step-by-step guide on how to make Vegan Gingerbread Cookies Delight.
Step 1
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease three baking sheets.
Step 2
In a large mixing bowl, combine the vegan shortening, brown sugar, white sugar, and soy milk. Use an electric mixer to blend until smooth. Then, add the molasses and mix until well combined.
Step 3
In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, ground ginger, baking soda, baking powder, and ground cinnamon.
Step 4
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing by hand until a dough forms and is thoroughly combined.
Step 5
Pour the 1/3 cup of white sugar into a shallow bowl. Roll the dough into small balls, then roll each ball in the sugar to coat it. Place the coated balls on the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 1 inch apart, and flatten them slightly with your hand.
Step 6
Bake in the preheated oven for 12 to 14 minutes, or until the cookies are golden and set. Allow the cookies to cool completely on the baking sheets before transferring them to a wire rack.
