Cooking Instructions
Follow our step-by-step guide on how to make Smoked Pork Chops Made Easy.
Step 1
Preheat your electric smoker to 225°F (110°C). Follow the manufacturer's instructions to add water and smoking chips.
Step 2
Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels. Brush 1/2 teaspoon of olive oil on both sides of each chop.
Step 3
Sprinkle the dry rub seasoning evenly over both sides of the chops, then rub it into the meat for better flavor.
Step 4
Once the smoker is producing wisps of smoke, place the chops directly on the smoker racks. Close the door and smoke for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
Step 5
Check the internal temperature of the chops with an instant-read thermometer; it should read at least 145°F (63°C) near the bone.
Step 6
Remove the chops from the smoker and let them rest for 10 minutes, tented with aluminum foil.
