Cooking Instructions
Follow our step-by-step guide on how to make Grilled Shrimp with Angel Hair Pasta and Fresh Tomato Sauce.
Step 1
In a large resealable plastic bag, combine 1/4 cup of herb-infused olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Squeeze the bag gently to mix the ingredients.
Step 2
Add the shrimp to the bag, seal it while removing as much air as possible, and gently shake to coat the shrimp in the marinade. Lay the bag flat on a tray and refrigerate for 30 to 45 minutes.
Step 3
Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add the angel hair pasta and cook, stirring occasionally, until tender yet firm to the bite, about 4 to 5 minutes. Drain and set aside.
Step 4
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Place a heat-proof skillet on one side of the grill to warm up. Thread the marinated shrimp onto metal skewers.
Step 5
Grill the shrimp skewers on the hot grate for 2 to 3 minutes per side, or until they turn white and opaque. Remove from the grill and set aside.
Step 6
In the heated skillet, add 2 teaspoons of olive oil and sautรฉ the sliced onion for 2 to 3 minutes until softened. Stir in the diced tomatoes, minced garlic, and crushed red pepper flakes, cooking for an additional 1 to 2 minutes.
Step 7
Pour in the white wine and let it reduce for about 4 minutes. Stir in the heavy cream and cook for another minute. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Step 8
Add the cooked pasta and grilled shrimp to the skillet, tossing everything together to combine. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
