Step 1
Preheat your oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC) and lightly grease a 9-inch tart pan with a removable bottom.

In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, cinnamon, salt, nutmeg, and cardamom for the crust. Pour in the melted butter and vanilla extract, stirring until the mixture forms a soft dough.

Press the dough evenly into the bottom and up the sides of the prepared tart pan. Use a fork to prick the bottom of the crust several times. Place the pan on a baking sheet.
