Cooking Instructions
Follow our step-by-step guide on how to make Shrimp and Orzo Salad with Fresh Herbs.
Step 1
Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add the shrimp and all-purpose seasoning blend. Cook the shrimp until they turn bright pink and the meat is opaque, about 5 minutes. Remove the shrimp from the pot and set them aside in a bowl.
Step 2
In the same pot, add the orzo to the seasoned water and bring it back to a boil. Cook the orzo, stirring occasionally, until it is tender yet firm to the bite, about 10 minutes. Drain the orzo and add it to the bowl with the shrimp. Place the bowl in the refrigerator to cool.
Step 3
In a separate bowl, combine the mayonnaise, dill, parsley, basil, mustard, lemon juice, salt, and white pepper. Mix well and taste, adjusting the seasoning as needed.
Step 4
Once the shrimp and orzo have cooled, remove them from the refrigerator. Add the halved cherry tomatoes and the dressing to the bowl. Stir well to combine. Taste and adjust the seasonings if necessary. Refrigerate the salad for at least 2 hours before serving.
