Cooking Instructions
Follow our step-by-step guide on how to make Smoked Salmon Deviled Egg Bites.
Step 1
Place the eggs in a single layer in a saucepan and cover them with water, ensuring the water is about 1 inch above the eggs. Cover the saucepan and bring the water to a boil over high heat.
Step 2
Once boiling, remove the saucepan from heat and let the eggs sit in the hot water for 15 minutes.
Step 3
After 15 minutes, pour out the hot water and cool the eggs under cold running water until they are cold to the touch. Peel the eggs once they are cool.
Step 4
Slice the eggs in half lengthwise and carefully scoop out the yolks into a small mixing bowl. Mash the yolks with a fork until smooth.
Step 5
Add the chopped smoked salmon, mayonnaise, lemon juice, yellow mustard, 1 teaspoon of dried dill, salt, and pepper to the mashed yolks. Mix until well combined.
Step 6
Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg whites. Sprinkle with paprika and a bit of additional dried dill for garnish.
Step 7
Cover the deviled eggs with plastic wrap and refrigerate until ready to serve.
