Step 1
Start by melting 10 tablespoons of unsalted butter in a saucepan over medium-high heat. As the butter melts, whisk in 1 1/4 cups of white sugar and 3/4 cup of cocoa powder until everything is well combined and dissolved. Once melted, remove the saucepan from the heat and let it cool slightly.
Step 2
Next, add 2 eggs, 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract, and 1/2 teaspoon of salt to the butter mixture. Whisk continuously until the eggs are fully incorporated and the mixture is smooth and glossy. Now, gently fold in 1/2 cup of all-purpose flour until just combined, and set this delicious batter aside.
Step 3
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). While the oven heats up, prepare a 9-inch square baking dish by lining it with aluminum foil and giving it a light spray with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
Step 4
Now, it’s time to bring it all together! Press the brownie batter evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
